When you think of it, religion is just a collection of stories people believe in. Stories that are embellished after their first occurence: anything could have been added and changed in our 2000 years of history. This bundle of parodies on religious stories is not intended to hurt people who are religious. It is meant to amuse and maybe to give some perspective on religious ideas. If you are enjoying these stories, then you are the person I wrote them for. If you are shocked, appalled or angry after reading, please remind yourself that they are only stories and that life and religion should never be taken that seriously.

The Twelve Tales are tales of fantasy, magic, longing and (mis)understanding; daily aspects of life described in short stories.

The current publication is a revised version of an earlier version, published as “Twelve Stories”. In hindsight, the term “Tales” was more suitable because of the length and character of the stories. For this last publication, several corrections have been made to the original text.

About

Not much is known about me, which is a shame. I am a really nice person and as you can see I like a good glass of wine. By which I do not intend to imply that I am an alcoholic. Far from it: I am someone who likes things in moderation.

So, a Dutch writer, married and two children, that's all I am going to tell you here. There really is not much else to tell, I think my stories speak for themselves, they do not need a thorough background of their conceiver.
